By Car from London
Take the M4 to junction 13 and head north towards Oxford on A34. Leave at the Didcot exit but head away from Didcot towards Steventon (first exit at the roundabout). At the traffic lights turn right on the B4017 and go through the villages of Steventon and Drayton, towards Abingdon. Stonehill House is on the right between Drayton and Abingdon. Look for a sign for Stonehill Riding School and turn right there, down a no-through road, badly marked 'Stonehill Lane' (also known as 'Oday Hill'). There is a left fork almost immediately to Stonehill House. Please note that this is a quicker route than 'satnav' instructions which suggest the M40.
By Car from Oxford
On the southbound A34, take the second exit to Abingdon (i.e. NOT Abingdon North). Head into Abingdon, over two roundabouts and then turn right in the direction of Drayton, where there are two mini roundabouts immediately next to each other. Immediately outside the town, look for a board saying Stonehill Riding School and turn left into the no-through road (if you find yourself in the village of Drayton, you've gone too far). There is a left fork almost immediately to Stonehill House.
